Payroll administrator/accounts assistant

This full-time, permanent position will involve weekly payroll of around 60-70 employees and the individual will also be expected to provide support to the accounts department. A Good knowledge of relevant legislation is important.

You will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the accounts department including…

  • Invoicing
  • Credit Control
  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • New customer accounts credit and terms
  • Telephone / Reception cover
  • Month end accounts

The successful candidate will have experience of using Opera accounts and be an excellent team player.

Production Manager

We require a qualified production manager to plan and oversee production of our product. You will have the organisational skills to plan and schedule overtime and shift work as required to meet the needs of the business.

You will be responsible for the performance of our 55 workshop personnel and will, with the assistance of the workshop managers, ensure that our products are built to the quality and in time with our customers’ requirements.

You will ideally have an engineering background and be familiar with the construction of commercial vehicle trailers or the fabrication of steel structures and pressure vessels, have a good knowledge engineering H & S matters, and above all be a team player and a team leader. Knowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic systems would be an advantage.

Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles, in particular, Articulated Road Tank Trailers.

Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics an advantage

Basic 37 hours per week + Overtime + Bonus Scheme

£17280 to £24650 + bonus.
